His speech is titled "After the US Election – The 'New' Climate and Energy Policies of the US Government."[3]

Goetz is listed as a "media contact" for more information on a CFACT campaign which aimed to give Greenpeace a "taste of their own medicine" by mounting a CFACT banner on Greenpeace's "Arctic Sunrise" ship. CFACT President David Rothbard mentions CFACT's stance on global warming: "The continuing scandal over falsified and destroyed temperature data, manipulated climate models, and a perverted scientific and peer review process further demonstrates that there is no valid basis for this anti-energy, wealth-redistribution, global governance Copenhagen treaty."

According to the CFACT press release, "Hundreds of climate scientists and thousands of other scientists disagree with that assertion [that climate change is occurring], as frequently noted by Lord Christopher Monckton, former science advisor to Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher and a CFACT advisor."[4]
